Craft Demonstrations

Every Wednesday during Cumbrian school holidays from 11.00am to 2.00pm
2 June, 21 & 28 July, 4, 11, 18 & 25 August, 1 September, 27 October

The Museum is brought to life as craftsmen and craftswomen demonstrate the continuity of traditional crafts in the Lakes. Demonstrations include rag rugging, lace making, and furniture restoration. It is worth ringing the Museum beforehand to confirm which demonstrations are taking place on any given date.
