There are lots of opportunities at the Museum to talk to local experts.

The rich craft heritage of the Lakes is still represented today by a pool of local craftsmen and craftswomen. On most Wednesdays during school holidays the Museum comes to life with spinners, weavers, rag ruggers, lacemakers, basket-makers and woodworkers demonstrating their crafts.
Craft Demonstrations will run from 11am - 2pm on 26 March, 2 April, 23 & 30 July and 6, 13, 20 & 27 August 2008.
