At the Museum of Lakeland Life site we have a licensed Coffee Shop
which provides home-made soup, light lunches, sandwiches and a selection
of delicious home-made cakes. We also serve a large variety of drinks
and a special Lunch of the Day. Seating is available outside by the
croquet lawn on sunny days. The Coffee Shop is open the same hours
as the Museum.
We warmly welcome
children and families at the Museum of Lakeland Life. There is plenty
to do in and around the Gallery. Please use one of the links below

There
is a pay and display car park (maximum stay 4 hours) on site at 80p
an hour. Failure to display a valid parking ticket will result in
your vehicle being clamped.
No
dogs (except guide dogs) are permitted in the Museum. The park adjacent
to the Abbot Hall site can be used to exercise dogs. There are also
some shaded areas for parking.
