In 2010, Learning and Audience Development Assistant, Laura Ferguson was selected as 1 of 12 Gallery Educators in the country to participate in ‘Watch This Space 7,’ a professional development programme run by engage, the national body for Gallery Education.

Laura worked closely with the Queen Katherine School, Kendal and underwent a school placement to learn about the problems teachers face when bringing groups to galleries. As an outcome of the partnership, the ideas from the year 9’s involved have been integrated in future resources for KS3 students at the gallery.
