About the Creative Age Challenge
What is it?
Making and crafting things to sell by donation to raise money for people living with dementia. Raising money creatively (rather than by climbing a mountain or running a marathon) allows community groups and older people to participate in fundraising initiatives.
What is the challenge this year?
To decorate the Christmas trees at the Museum of Lakeland Life & Industry and Kendal Parish Church, and sell community made ornaments to support Lakeland Arts’ Dementia Programme.
Local schools, community groups, Lakeland Arts’ In the Moment group, and visitors to the Museum of Lakeland Life & Industry are invited to make Christmas ornaments to decorate the Museum’s tree or to take home (by donation).
